Special Events Alaska

I spent $80 on a helium tank that was suppose to come with balloons and string in the box. It came with just the string loose in the box. Why don’t I just return it? Because the birthday is on the 4th of July(today) & because I live two hours away from the store. They are closed on the 4th of July. Not impressed at the quality of products this place sells.

Five stars to s not enough! Silas and his team at Special Events in Wasilla were a huge help to us. We couldn’t find a post driver anywhere for setting up our tent, and it’s not something they normally rent out. I called just hoping they might have one available, but they went far beyond that — they came out right away, set the poles for us, stayed late to make sure everything was on track, and then returned the next day to help us finish the job. Their reliability and willingness to step in made all the difference Owner Wilmington Wedding Venue & Catering LLC.

The staff was nice and helpful. We were just getting a few things for a children's birthday party and got some balloons filled. Everything went as expected, perfectly.

I have worked with Special Events so many times as a local wedding planner and they are always my preferred go-to for all things rentals and event setup. I can always count on them to work with us to find what we need, and the staff goes above and beyond every single time for their clients. Everyone is so friendly and they just provide the best service. The quality of their rentals (tents, tables, chairs, linens etc) is superior to any other vendor in the state, in my opinion. 10/10 recommend!

Special Events did a great job with my wedding! They listened, brought everything we needed and were timely with drop off and pick up! We rented the dance floor, cocktail tables (we bought our own table clothes for them), and champagne glasses! Highly recommend them!
